PRP

What Is PRP?

PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma injections. Red blood cells contain various growth factors that stimulate healing and rejuvenation! This therapy is a non-surgical procedure that can be used to treat acne scars, surgical scars, hyperpigmentation issues, uneven and dull skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, thinning hair and more. โ€‹

How Does PRP Work?

PRP injections are prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of your own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These activated platelets are then injected directly into your body tissue. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces. Platelet-rich plasma has been found to significantly enhance the healing process.
